Under the circumstances of global economic recovery, the sales performance of our Group during the third quarter of 2009 maintained the momentum of growth from the previous quarter. In this quarter, total sales volume of silicone rubber was 11,813 tons, jumped by 44.8% compared with the same period of last year. Of which, 3,025 tons silicone gum, 1,188 tons HVI rubber and 7,599 tons silicone compound were sold in this quarter and growing by 64.3%, 34.9% and 39.8% respectively from a year earlier.
For the first three quarters of 2009, we have created cumulative sales of 26,957 tons silicon rubber, increasing 11.8% from the same period of last year. Thanks to the economic recovery and consistent efforts of all our staff, the sales amount of all our silicone rubber products, those are gum, HVI and compound, have presented a growth of 27.6%, 36.0% and 3.2% respectively compared with the first nine months of 2008.
Our Group's expansion plans in production capability have been carrying out as scheduled and would be all ready by early 2010.
