With the morning bell and the changing of seasons, the journey of 2024 has come to an end, and we are about to open a new chapter of 2025. On the occasion of the New Year of 2025, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Group, I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings and blessings to all the hardworking and dedicated employees of Dongjue! I would like to thank you all, especially the outstanding employees and excellent teams who have been awarded with commendations. It is your efforts as always that have made indelible contributions to the stable development of the Group.
In the past year of 2024, the uncertainty of the external environment increased, the industry experienced a serious involution, and the price of products hovered at a low level. Keeping the commitment of “ensuring quality-first with meticulous attention, and satisfying customers by all means”, all of you continuously optimized the management and production process, gradually enhanced the service consciousness, and became more and more rigorous in your work attitude, which made Dongjue Group achieve remarkable results in spite of the disadvantageous situation. More specifically, we sold more than 100,000 tons of products in 2024, an 18% increase compared to 2023. The two production sites in Nanjing and Anhui complemented each other’s advantages and saw a significant improvement in production efficiency; and there was almost no increase in manpower but a substantial increase in sales volume in the production department. With the future development of the Group as the top priority, each functional department did a good job in precise cost control, capital safety and market responsiveness, thus improving both quality and efficiency. At the same time, Dongjue has also fulfilled the promise of “enabling all employees to benefit more from their hard work and perseverance”.
In the upcoming year of 2025, we will usher in a more complex market environment and inevitably encounter various difficulties and challenges. Dongjue Group will continue to adjust the product structure, focus on improving the quality of R&D personnel and set up a technology-enabled sales team. We should internalize the spirit of “forging ahead by combining learning with practice” into our habits and way of thinking. Firm goal is the cornerstone of success. To achieve our set goals, we will establish feasible plans and maintain a rigorous and optimistic mentality. In the meantime, we should frequently reflect on and draw lessons from our work and strive to improve our work ability. In a word, do not burn out, do not muddle along, and do not pass the buck. I believe that with the efforts of all, we will be able to make steady progress and successfully achieve the set goals of Dongjue for 2025, we will stand out in the new round of market tides, and definitely, we will carry on the glory of the past!
“The tree which fills the arms grows from the tiniest sprout; the tower of nine stories rises from a (small) heap of earth.” The past of Dongjue is impossible without your dedication, the present of Dongjue is inseparable from your solid work, and the tomorrow of Dongjue needs your unity and collaboration. A new journey has begun. Let us set sail for the next course of Dongjue and play our role as a responsible domestic enterprise!
